Meet the Author

“I don’t chase the spotlight. I chase the story.”

Ethan Cole writes dark, propulsive thrillers that slip beneath the surface of power, loyalty, and survival. His debut, The Serpent’s Fang, launches the Nick DeLuca series — gritty noir set against the smoky backdrop of 1965 Los Angeles.

He’s not a spotlight guy. Just someone who works from a secondhand laptop, talks story ideas into his phone on long walks, and puts in the hours like anyone chasing something that matters. He’s based on Vancouver Island now, where he prefers fog, quiet roads, and slow mornings to big noise.

You can catch glimpses behind the scenes (and sometimes a few truths) on Instagram and Facebook.
